At one time the most elusive model in the New Balance 99x series, the classic 997 enjoyed its first ever retro in the mid-2010s to much fanfare. After a run of iconic collaborations and inline colourways, the 997 was put away to let other models take the limelight.

After seasons of rumours that we were going to see the 997 return, New Balance finally gave us what we all wanted – dressed in the original (and best) combination of grey-over-grey. Today the model continues to arrive in new and welcome colourways for the storied New Balance model.
