Story mfg. offers-up their take on the ubiquitous MA-1 'Bomber' jacket with their Seed Bomber. Take that name how you like but this is a serious piece of kit.
The body is made from a dense weave organic cotton in traditional olive drab hue made with Kaduka dye. All the hallmarks are present—a cropped silhouette, flap pockets, flight book pocket on the sleeve and wide ribbed trims. In place of the usual bright orange lining on a traditional bomber, Story's interpretation features a bright pink Sevilokodi-dyed cotton with block printed checkerboard hand-applied by Tharangini Studio.
As part of Story's 'Wonky Wear' range there's a desire to enhance and embrace the slight imperfections of hand-made garments. Whether it's the chunky knit of the ribbing or the evidence of human hand in the lines of a stitch, there's no shortage of character.
→ NOTE: Due to the unique dying process and handmade nature of Story mfg. no two pieces look exactly the same. Variations in colour and pattern are a design feature.
